AT THE AIRPORT
Check in procedures
Please make sure that you have to have all necessary documents for the flight, such as passport, visa, work permits and health documents required for final destination and transit stops on route. Check in for the flight at Chisinau Airport begins 2 hours before scheduled departure, and closes 45 minutes prior to departure.
If for any reason you are delayed and you arrive after closure of the flight, or fail to produce the necessary documents required for your journey, the Airline reserves the right not to accept you for the flight.
The baggage allowance for economy class for destinations in Europe is 20 kg, and for business class 30 kg. Hand baggage allowance is 5 kg and must be of a size suitable to fit in the overhead hand baggage lockers on the aircraft, or fit under the seat in front of you.
For any additional baggage exceeding the limits described herein, passenger will be liable to excess baggage charges.
What is allowed to be carried in your hand baggage, and what is forbidden
To ensure the safety of your flight, the following items are forbidden to be carried on the aircraft. Failure in compliance to these regulations may result in criminal prosecution.
- All compressed gasses: inflammables, not inflammable, asphyxiants and poisons;
- Active chemical agents: acids, alkaline, accumulators;
- Explosives or items equipped with them;
- Guns;
- Flares of any type or description;
- Oxidizing agents;
- Flammable liquids and solid substances (igniters, lighter fluid, matches and other deflagrable items in large quantities);
- Poisonous substances;
- Radioactive substances;
- Animals including birds and reptiles, with the exception of household pets, who's transport regulations are mentioned below;
- Magnetizing materials.
The following items may be carried in hand luggage: Medicines and toilet articles in small quantities - such as perfume, medicine that contains alcohol, hairspray, and other items which passenger may require during the flight.
Customs rules
In accordance with the legislation of Republic of Moldova, the maximum of foreign currency that may be exported from Moldova is USD 5000 for Moldovan citizens, and USD 2000 or equivalent for foreigners. Carriage of household pets
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and hamsters may be carried only with prior approval of the airline. Pets are carried only in the baggage compartment of the aircraft, and not in the cabin, and then only in special containers approved by the airline.
The acceptance of pets is authorised with the pre condition that passenger assumes full responsibility for them. The airline is neither responsible, nor liable, for any physical injuries, loses, delays in delivery, illness, or death, as well as for the refusal on importation or carriage through any other country or territory!
The weight of accompanied pets, as well as the weight of the containers (cages), and of the food, is not included in the baggage allowance, and is always charged at the normal excess baggage rate for the journey.
ON BOARD
The use of electronic equipment on board
Electronic equipment such as wireless phones, portable CD and DVD record players, radio transmitting equipment, TVs and other remote control equipment may interfere with the air navigation systems of the aircraft, therefore please avoid their use during the flight.
Furthermore we kindly ask you not to use laptops computers, calculators, electronic games, cassette recorders, electronic razors and video cameras during take-off and landing. However, they may be used after the fasten seat belt sign has been switched off. For further information please check with the cabin crew.
